- Business analysts with strong testing oversight experience
Candidate Profile
Strong background in ERP or clinical system testing (not hands technical but form a coordination standpoint)Experience as a Testing Coordinator or Project Manager with testing responsibilitiesComfortable reading test cases , validating business needs, and discussing with SMEsAssertive but diplomatic - able to push for clarity, accountability, and follow-throughThinks critically about test coverage and works proactively to close gapsWorkday experience is a plus , but strong enterprise software testing background will be consideredOriginal ask :
We need someone with specific testing coordinator skills. As we have not upgraded some of our systems in a while and many business processes will change with Workday, we need more help than planned. With training and additional coordinator needs, Arielle will not be able take it on and Bhavith's depth in this area will not be sufficient.
For the training coordinator we are looking at :
Working with SMEs and analysts to update training scripts. I would like this to be active, e.g. having a Q&A session and the training coordinator capturing discussed items.Coordinating testing sessions reserving rooms, planning the sessions, clarifying objectives and what scripts are run, and ensuring the groups run themOrganizing and reporting results for the project team.Getting signoffs from testing leadsWorkday experience preferred, though not required is depth of experience with other softwareNotes from call : Project Background
The client is implementing Workday, which will significantly impact business processes.Many departments lack formal policies, procedures, or up-to-date SOPs, especially in finance.There's a knowledge gap among staff-many have never executed test scenarios or don't understand how to validate processes.The client needs a dedicated Testing Coordinator to lead, organize, and drive accountability across testing efforts.Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution
Organize and coordinate end-to-end system testingSchedule sessions, reserve rooms, and assign test scripts
Clarify test objectives, expected outcomes, and business contextWork closely with SMEs and process owners to ensure test scripts are accurate, relevant, and fully understoodIdentify gaps in test coverage and work with stakeholders to develop meaningful test scenariosOversight & Accountability
Hold process owners and SMEs accountable for test participation and sign-offTrack test progress, escalate failures or issues to the project team for resolutionEnsure stakeholders understand the importance of test scripts and what's expected of themFacilitate prep meetings to ensure everyone is aligned before test execution
