Job Description

Fox News is looking for a Field Technician to join our Chicago Bureau. As a Field Technician, you will work with field photographers, satellite truck operators, engineers, producers, and reporters—both in the field and in the studio.

Responsibilities

• Operate satellite trucks
• Basic ENG field photography
• Studio camera operation for live shots and guests
• Single-camera and multi-camera set-ups
• Audio for single and multiple camera set-ups
• Basic lighting for newsgathering and long formats
• Basic non-linear editing
• Safely drive company-owned and rental vehicles
• Extensive, last-minute travel for breaking news

Compensation and Benefits

Pay rate / range is $28.75-$38.25 per hour, dependent on education, skills, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical / dental / vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for union-represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
