In the Accelerated Path to Management Program, you'll start as a financial professional, learn how to sell our products, build client relationships, and meet specific requirements before transitioning into a management role. The program includes a six-month intensive training phase to prepare you for success as a manager, with a focus on recruiting and coaching others.
What we offer
Phase 1 : Firsthand experience as a financial professional
You will work as a financial professional during the first year, with extensive training and access to a comprehensive product suite and digital tools.
Training and resources
You will receive training to understand the value of New York Life, along with access to resources to help you succeed day-to-day, including experts and a suite of digital sales, prospecting and marketing tools (web, social, and email content).
Product solutions
You will learn about our range of products, including life insurance, annuities, long-term care, disability income, and investment products through NYLIFE Securities LLC. You will be required to hold securities licenses and FINRA registrations and affiliate with NYLIFE Securities as a registered representative before offering investment products.
Phase 2 : Transition to Associate Partner
After meeting first-year requirements, you will enter a six-month Associate Partner training program. You'll help lead and build a team of financial professionals, with opportunities for ongoing growth and promotions within New York Life.
Compensation
Initial compensation is commission-based as a financial professional. If you qualify for the Associate Partner role, you will receive a salary with the potential for bonuses and other incentives based on performance, including compensation related to recruited and developed agents (R&Ds). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, long-term disability, accidental death and dismemberment coverages, a pension plan, and a 401(k). New York Life notes that field managers' compensation is linked to recruiting performance and team production. The company also provides illustrative income data and reserves the right to amend plans at any time.
