As an MDG (Master Data Governance) Solution Architect at Corning Incorporated, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing the Master Data Governance solutions for the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the design, development and deployment of MDG systems, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across various business units at Corning, as the company undergoes an ERP transformation and utilizes a global template. You will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive master data governance solutions that cater to various business processes, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance throughout the organization during the ongoing ERP transformation and the use of the global template. This position requires experience with multiple global MDG implementations for successfully navigating the complexities of data governance at a global level.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Design : Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to design end-to-end MDG solutions that align with Corning's data governance strategy and objectives, taking into account the ongoing ERP transformation and global template implementation.

Requirements Gathering : Analyze business requirements and data governance needs to identify gaps and develop functional specifications for MDG system enhancements and configurations, ensuring alignment with the global template.

• Conduct Blueprint, Fit-Gap and Design workshops for various MDG master data domains.
• Able to translate business requirements into design documents and functional specifications.
• Work closely with MDG factory technical lead and developer and communicate business requirements and functional specifications effectively to them.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration, testing and training documentation.
• Strong experience working with Master data on S / 4 and ECC side related Material, BoM, Customer, Vendor, Business Partner and Finance master.
• Knowledge of S / 4 HANA functional configuration related to Master data- Material, BoM, Customer, Vendor, Business Partner and Finance master.
• Solid understanding of SAP MDG Master data objects including Material, Business Partner, Customer, Vendor and Finance master data model.
• Data Modeling : Define data models and data elements necessary for MDG processes, ensuring alignment with data standards and best practices set by the global template.

Process Modeling : Design and model complex BRF (Business Rules Framework) workflows for master data governance, ensuring efficient and streamlined data approval processes that align with the global template's guidelines.

UI Modeling : Design user-friendly and intuitive user interfaces for the MDG system, enhancing user experience and data entry efficiency while adhering to the global template's user interface standards.

DRF (Data Replication Framework) : Implement and configure DRF for data replication between MDG and other SAP systems, ensuring data consistency across the Corning landscape and compatibility with the global template.

Mass Processing : Configure mass processing capabilities in the MDG system to perform bulk data updates and changes according to the global template's data processing guidelines.
