Summary
Provide educational support and guidance for academic programs 4 days per week.
Provide Coordination of Adolescent Wellness Programs.
School year position with minimal summer hours. September - June 35 hours
Summer up to 10 hours weekly.
Duties
Classroom support as teaching assistant in the classrooms.
Develop activities using curriculum provided to offer content related teaching.
Offer support to some student one to one if needed.
Coordinate adolescent wellness programs by doing intakes for students, setting up classes, rosters, following up with parents / caregivers.
Send out pre-post surveys and certificates from course completion etc.
Requirements
Education :
Bachelors in Education, Social Work, youth development, psychology.
Prior experience working with teens.
Comfort facilitating small groups of teens, and classroom management.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work with complex family dynamics.
