The Preoperative Optimization RN is responsible for assessing and preparing patients for surgical procedures to ensure they are in optimal health prior to surgery. This role involves conducting thorough chart reviews, coordinating necessary diagnostic testing, educating patients about the surgical process, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to manage and mitigate medical risks. The Preop Optimization RN plays a vital role in improving surgical outcomes, enhancing patient safety, and reducing surgical delays or cancellations.

Who Should Apply :
Applicants with an Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered; provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN / MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of hire

Salary Range : Minimum $46.57 / hour - Maximum $72.18 / hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
