Day Shift : Monday-Friday, 40 total hours a week!
Shift : 1st Shift.
Employment Types : Full Time, Long Term.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Inspecting the forklift. If repairs are necessary, a qualified mechanic will have to make them before anyone can use the truck in the field.
Once the repairs are finally finished, the forklift operator must inspect the truck once more.
- Using production schedules to understand handling and transportation details about loads
- Placing loads securely on the forklift
- Following safe driving guidelines to and from locations in the facility
- Accurately monitoring and updating inventory records when necessary
Education and Professional Experience :
- High school diploma or GED necessary.
- At least two years of experience operating forklifts and reach-lifts.
- Experience in industrial and commercial settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety regulations.

- This position requires constant communication with both external contacts and other staff. In these cases, you must be able to share reliable information.
- Must be able to maneuver around industrial construction and use equipment (both motorized and manual) safely.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position, periodically ascend / descend, position yourself to manually handle / sort / load / unload freight and products, and climb in / out of equipment within the construction site(s).
- Ability to routinely open and close dock, trailer, and container doors.
Requirements : Background Check (by client request), Drug Test (by client request), Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old.
Able to Lift 50+ pounds., required education : HS Diploma or GED.
Working Conditions :
Warehouse environment. Georgia weather can be hot, chilly, rainy, humid, or windy circumstances can occur indoors or outdoors.
Sufficient noise, whether regular or intermittent. Frequently exposed to pollutants, airborne particles, mechanical parts, and vibration.
