What We're Looking For

HNTB is seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and success-oriented marketing team leader to join our West Division Marketing Team. The role involves working with pursuit teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations, supervising a small team of marketing specialists, and facilitating team training and mentorship. This is a full-time position based in Los Angeles, San Diego, or Santa Ana.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assign daily tasks to team members, oversee proposal and pursuit material development, and collaborate with technical staff to ensure clarity and compliance.
• Develop pursuit strategies, including gathering business intelligence on clients and competitors.
• Organize and facilitate pursuit strategy meetings.
• Support client service teams with meeting materials and participate in client meetings.
• Lead training initiatives for new hires and ongoing education.
• Participate in recruitment, hiring, staff development, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate schedules and approve timecards.
• Set objectives for employees, provide client feedback, and coach team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
