Current Job Opening : Business Development Manager
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market reach by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Key responsibilities include developing strategies, building relationships with vendors, customers, and team members, and negotiating profitable deals to support our HVAC business.
- Render quality customer service to maximize profits from sales volume.
- Meet or exceed objectives related to gross margin and sales.
- Promote good customer relations based on integrity, standards, and fair dealings.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues appropriately.
- Determine sales coverage for HVAC customers and conduct routine market penetration calls.
- Collaborate with sales personnel and branch managers to develop and implement HVAC sales plans, including Unitary, Mini-splits, and Supplies.
- Conduct on-site product training for personnel and coordinate customer training with vendor partners.
- Maintain a training calendar and complete weekly sales call reports.
- Provide application and technical support to customers and associates.
- Participate in industry associations and meetings to stay informed.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis, develop sales tools, and align product plans with market opportunities.
- Establish and maintain regular contact schedules with customers.
- Assist in credit limit setting and collections, maintaining confidentiality.
- Maintain professional appearance and vehicle, and improve selling skills and product knowledge continuously.
- Adhere to safety policies and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Strong selling, presentation, and communication skills.Persuasive, adaptable, and capable of working at a fast pace while multi-tasking.Excellent organizational and relationship-building skills.Motivated to achieve targets with effective planning and problem-solving abilities.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, with 2-5 years of related experience; HVAC industry experience is a plus.Work Environment & Physical Demands
The role involves a general office environment with frequent local travel to visit customers, including possible job site visits.
