We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Superintendent to play a key supporting role in delivering the firm’s high-caliber residential projects.
This junior-level position is ideal for an emerging construction professional eager to learn the craft of custom homebuilding from the ground up — blending technical knowledge, project coordination, and on-site management in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to help manage the day-to-day operations on site, maintain organization and quality, and ensure that every detail reflects the precision and care our clients expect.
Core Responsibilities include :
Field Coordination & Site Management
- Support the Superintendent in overseeing daily jobsite operations and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized site.
- Help coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and sequencing of trades.
- Conduct daily walkthroughs and report on progress, safety, and workmanship.
- Maintain accurate site logs, photos, and reports in project management software (Procore).
Quality & Craftsmanship
Assist in reviewing field work against plans, specifications, and details — ensuring alignment with firm’s standards for quality.Identify and communicate potential issues early to maintain smooth execution.Participate in punch list and quality-control inspections throughout the project.Communication & Collaboration
Act as a liaison between field teams, project management, and design professionals.Help distribute drawings, updates, and RFI responses to the field.Support documentation of field changes and coordinate timely updates with the project team.Planning & Scheduling
Assist in updating short-term schedules and trade coordination plans.Track progress against milestones and anticipate upcoming work or constraints.Participate in team meetings to align on goals, priorities, and next steps.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.0–3 years of relevant field experience (internships or co-ops welcome).Familiarity with residential construction drawings, sequencing, and terminology.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and construction management tools.Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Eagerness to learn, contribute, and grow within a collaborative, high-expectation environment.OSHA 10-Hour certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).Core Attributes
