Responsibilities :
- Prepare detailed financial statements for family trusts, partnerships, and associated entities.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliations, post journal entries, and manage month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, assets, liabilities, and oversee accounts payable operations.
- Analyze and report on investment performance, including venture capital and private equity portfolios.
- Provide support for estate planning, tax-related activities, and family financial inquiries.
- Generate semi-annual financial statements and quarterly reports on asset holdings.
- Collaborate with the outgoing incumbent to ensure a seamless transition of responsibilities.
- Operate independently in a senior-level role while contributing to team objectives when necessary.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trust accounting, investment accounting, or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of fund administration and management of investment portfolios.
- Proven expertise in handling equity investments and preparing financial statements.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger reconciliations.
- Proficiency in month-end and year-end financial close procedures.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to monitor and report on investment performance.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of high-level responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to support estate planning and tax-related tasks.
