Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee interior construction projects — including laboratories, hospitals, and specialized facilities — throughout the greater New York area.

This position is responsible for leading all on-site field operations : supervising trades, maintaining safety and quality standards, managing schedules, and ensuring that every aspect of the project aligns with the company’s expectations for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and document all day-to-day site activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and schedule goals.
• Direct field staff and subcontractors in accordance with project plans, specifications, and company standards.
• Participate in project turnover and pre-mobilization meetings to establish logistics, staging, and field setup plans.
• Develop and maintain the project baseline schedule and manage two-week look-ahead schedules with the project team.
• Conduct safety meetings with all trades before starting work on site; ensure adherence to OSHA and site-specific programs.
• Utilize predictive safety tools to proactively identify and prevent potential issues.
• Oversee project quality benchmarks, inspections, and documentation throughout all phases of construction.
• Attend and lead job meetings — including owner, subcontractor, and foreman coordination sessions — to maintain communication and progress.
• Manage field documentation including daily reports, RFIs, submittals, and material deliveries.
• Maintain current as-built drawings, revision logs, and subcontractor correspondence.
• Supervise project close-out, ensuring completion of punch lists, owner training, and turnover documentation.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to Assistant Superintendents and Field Engineers.
