The Role

The Honest Company is seeking a Sales Planning Associate to join our dynamic Retail Sales team! The Sales Planning Associate is a hybrid role (category and customer facing) that will assist with portfolio management, retail launches, sales assets management, category analytics for a big retailer (50%) and also broader household wellness category (50%).

The role will work with internal and external cross-functional partners to deliver on company goals and objectives.

What youll do :

  • Own household wellness retailer calendars and playbooks that track SKUs, retailers, pricing, competitors, POGs, etc. and ensure they are updated for our internal and external teams
  • Manage household wellness projects in coordination with brand and project management business partners
  • Assist with retail launches by collaboratively working to gather and provide key information to our retail partners
  • Co-manage the retail assets toolbox and online content of our retailers to ensure each product page is perfectly set up to retailer guidelines with assets, copy, and product details
  • Run data insights for personal care business to provide monthly retail performance updates
  • Assist with the development of sales sheets, sales decks and presentations
  • Run data insights for retailer business to provide weekly performance updates
  • Setup new items with or new retailer partnership via retailer systems
  • Manage best-in-class PDPs and Honest brand store via their e-commerce platform
  • Ad hoc duties for the baby & retailer teams, such as samples mailing, labeling products for product reviews, item setup, etc.

What youll need :

  • Bachelors degree
  • 1-3 years experience in sales with a consumer packaged goods company
  • Interest in Sales and purpose-driven companies
  • Previous sales planning or category management desired
  • Must demonstrate strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong organization and problem solving skills
  • Experience with retail Category Management a plus
  • Ideally familiar with retailer POS systems
