Responsibilities Hospital setting with patient cases in medical surgical, intensive care, cardiac care, med-surg, and emergency departments Serves adult and geriatric high acuity patients, typically ages 30 and above Work involves routine X-ray procedures and portable imaging throughout the hospital Shifts are 7 consecutive nights on followed by 7 nights off May float to all Central Aspirus locations as needed No on-call or call-back required; may be asked to help fill in on holidays or weekends if needed Epic Radiant EMR experience preferred but not required Duties include performing X-ray exams in medical surgical, ICUs, cardiac care, and emergency settings, as well as routine portable work Must be comfortable working independently in various hospital units including the OR Team-based environment with possible cross-coverage at central locations Scrub attire may be any color 36 hours of low census unbillable time may occur and travelers can be placed on call with call back pay GSA hours are not guaranteed during the week of orientation Holiday closures may affect weekly schedule Radius rule does not apply to this position Requirements Current ARRT and active Wisconsin license required AHA BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years specialty experience as an X-ray Technologist required Prior travel assignment experience required Recent experience (within last 2 years) in a Trauma Level II, 300 bed facility required Operating Room experience required Proficiency positioning high acuity adult patients and performing portable X-ray exams License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-616230.
