Job Description
Construction Management company seeking an experienced Superintendent to join its rapidly growing 50-year-old company. This Superintendent must plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish by organizing and overseeing construction procedures to ensure they are completed on time and on budget. This candidate must carry out supervisory responsibilities and be held accountable to the timely completion of the project and ensuring that the project is constructed in strict accordance with the plans, specifications, company’s policies and local applicable codes and laws.

Responsibilities
Ensure adherence to all OSHA health and safety standardsSchedule inspections as necessary to ensure timely project completionReview and report issues timely if / when they arise and review potential impactMaintain daily log of jobsite activitiesCollaborate with Engineers, Architects, Subcontractors, Vendors, etc. to meet the demands of the projectPerform quality control by inspecting work in progress to ensure that the workmanship conforms to contract documents and specifications and adheres to the construction scheduleDetermine required resources (manpower, equipment and materials)Communicate and reinforce the vision, values, and goals including IIF (Incident and Injury Free) safety programAid the Project Team through collaboration and leadership skillsSchedule SubContractors and Vendors to ensure timely project completionAdminister weekly foreman meetingProduction of 3 week look aheadReview monthly requisition in collaboration with Sr Project ManagerManage access control systemSkills
Critical thinking and decision makingProven experience as a Senior Construction SuperintendentIn-depth understanding of construction proceduresExpertise with quality and health and safety standardsGood knowledge of Microsoft OfficeKnowledge and experience of AutoDesk Build is preferredOutstanding communication skillsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsA team player with diplomatic leadership abilitiesExpertise in reading and interpreting plansOSHA TrainingWork Remotely
