Location : Phoenix, AZ

What You'll Do : As a Land Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role by overseeing various aspects of land development projects.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Securing timely planning and engineering approvals
  • Developing and analyzing conceptual plans in coordination with Sales & Marketing
  • Producing financial budgets and evaluations for plan alternatives
  • Managing land development and planning approval schedules
  • Leading a team of consultants to ensure timely project completion
  • Reviewing earthwork strategies to minimize costs
  • Participating in acquisitions and due diligence processes
  • Procuring necessary construction and engineering services

What You Bring : To excel in this role, you should possess :

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Planning, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field
  • Previous experience in project management, preferably in a similar role
  • Supervisory experience, demonstrating strong leadership skills
  • Excellent project management abilities, including budgeting and scheduling
  • A solid understanding of land development processes and related disciplines
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in reading various types of maps and engineering plans
  • Experience in the homebuilding and land development industry
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project

Bonus Points :

  • Master's degree in Construction, Real Estate, or related field
  • PE Certification
