Job descriptionManage full-cycle accounts payable, including vendor setup and W-9 / 1099 compliance Process expense reimbursements and handle semi-monthly check runs (15th & 25th), plus ad-hoc checks Review statements (no pay-from-statement), reconcile accounts, and resolve invoice issues 3+ years of accounts payable experience Strong proficiency in Excel Excellent accuracy, organization, and follow-through Experience in legal or professional services environments a plus
Ascendo Resources is partnering with a Fort Lauderdale law firm to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced professional services environment.
Position Highlights :
- Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 30 a.m.–5 : 30 p.m.
- Status : Non-exempt / hourly
- Reporting to : Office Manager; collaborating closely with the Controller / CSO
- Start Date : ASAP (offer contingent on background check)
- Location : Fort Lauderdale, FL
