General Summary of Position Clinical Nurse – Inpatient Rehab (O’Neil 5) Unit Highlights Setting : 30-bed Acute Inpatient Rehab Unit Patient Population : Stable tracheostomy patients, heparin drips, post-stroke care, joint replacements, and limb salvage cases Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 4-5 : 1, with support from an average of 3 patient care techs per shift Length of Stay : ~10 days, allowing for meaningful patient relationships Team Environment : Collaborative, patient-centered care focused on measurable rehabilitation goals Scheduling : Full-time days (7a–7p) , nights (7p–7a) , or evening / nights mix (3p–11p and 7p–7a) ; every third weekend rotation What We Offer Culture : A collaborative, inclusive, and supportive workplace.
