General Summary of Position Clinical Nurse – Inpatient Rehab (O’Neil 5) Unit Highlights Setting : 30-bed Acute Inpatient Rehab Unit Patient Population : Stable tracheostomy patients, heparin drips, post-stroke care, joint replacements, and limb salvage cases Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 4-5 : 1, with support from an average of 3 patient care techs per shift Length of Stay : ~10 days, allowing for meaningful patient relationships Team Environment : Collaborative, patient-centered care focused on measurable rehabilitation goals Scheduling : Full-time days (7a–7p) , nights (7p–7a) , or evening / nights mix (3p–11p and 7p–7a) ; every third weekend rotation What We Offer Culture : A collaborative, inclusive, and supportive workplace. Qualifications ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing (required) Active MD RN License or Compact State RN License (required) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers (required) Prior clinical nursing experience (preferred) Key Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse , you will : Provide safe, proficient, and compassionate nursing care for patients and families across a range of complexities.
