Position Summary

We are seeking a Civil / Highway Engineer with 2+ years of experience to work in the expanding Transportation group. The Civil / Highway Engineer will work on a variety of public sector infrastructure projects in NJ, NY and CT including bridge, roadway, and aviation projects. Work includes preparation and / or review of design documents for roadway design, alignments, grading, utilities, conceptual geometric design, pavement markings, traffic barriers, MPT, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and / or review design plans, estimates, technical specifications, details, and other project related documents (alignment, grading, MOT, signs, pavement markings, traffic signals, traffic barriers, ITS, etc.).
• Design / Review construction design documents to ensure effective and safe traffic operations.
• Develop conceptual documents and provide design recommendations.
• Lead / attend technical project meetings.
• Coordinate with staff from a range of other disciplines (civil, structural, operations) to resolve design issues.
