We are looking for individuals who excel at flexible and creative thinking; who see themselves as learners rather than lecturers; who have excellent content mastery as well as solid teaching experience; who are enthusiastic, highly motivated, committed, and eager to join a community that is passionate about supporting gifted children.

You will be expected to teach elementary-age general music classes, middle and upper school vocal ensembles, and individual and group lessons for students on various instruments while fostering an effective, engaging, student-centered learning environment. This position is full-time with an immediate start date. Opportunities for growth, professional development, and leadership are significant as the school continues to expand.

YOU MUST HAVE :

• Advanced musical content mastery.
• Up-to-date (less than 1 year old) clearances prior to beginning work, including Federal Criminal History, PA State Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, Mandated Reporter training, TB test, Act 168, and any additional required clearances (we will assist the qualified candidate in obtaining these prior to starting).
• An appreciation of both the intellectual and social-emotional needs of gifted children.
• The ability to clearly communicate as a professional educator.
