Key Responsibilities of the Travel Medical Assistant:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, including sanitizing and restocking supplies.
• Record patient vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by healthcare providers.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
• Provide patient education and instructions as needed.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including answering phones and processing paperwork.

Requirements of the Travel Medical Assistant:

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program and certification (CMA or CCMA preferred).
• Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is highly desirable.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and quality patient care
