GENERAL FUNCTION :
The Commercial Loan Utility Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing appraisal and 3rd party inspections request, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate records. This role involves communicating with appraisers and inspectors, verifying information, and managing the appraisal and inspection workflow.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Receive and process appraisal and inspection order request, ensuring all necessary information is included.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of order details, including property address, type, and purpose of appraisal or inspection.
- Send bid request to appraiser or inspector based on location and expertise.
- Maintain accurate records of appraisal or inspection orders, including status, dates, and relevant documentation.
- Provide appraisers or inspectors with necessary documentation and instructions.
- Communicate with appraisers or inspectors regarding order details, deadlines, and any issues that arise.
- Follow up on appraisal orders to ensure timely completion and delivery.
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers regarding appraisal or inspection orders.
- Demonstrates an aptitude for banking and exhibits proficiency in all areas of the ordering process. Has an inherent duty and responsibility to follow all policies and procedures regarding the ordering of appraisal or inspections.
- Upon receipt of appraisal for 1-4 residential, prepare disclosures and send accordingly according to bank policy
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs all other duties assigned by supervisor.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.Resolves questions or problems with their appraisal or inspection and performs the duties necessary for the efficient operation of the department.JOB QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate or equivalentMinimum of one year of clerical and loan operations experienceMinimum of one year experience as a real estate loan secretary, closing agent, or equivalent experience.Proven knowledge of loan policies and procedures.Job Posted by ApplicantPro
