Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our medical-surgical telemetry unit.

This facility is a level III trauma center that provides healthcare services in the region.

The center offers a comprehensive range of services, including medical, surgical, and rehabilitation care.

Facilities include a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, and day surgery center.

The environment promotes a variety of diagnostic services with advanced imaging and lab testing capabilities.

The position includes a patient care ratio of 1 : 5 or 1 : 6, ensuring adequate attention to each patient.

Equipment used in the unit includes vital sign machines, bladder scanners, IV pumps, thermal imaging devices, lifts, and tube feeding pumps.

The electronic health record system utilized is Cerner.

The patient population primarily consists of adults aged 18 and older.

Common diagnoses and treatments include cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, and congestive heart failure.

Charge nurse experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Oncology skills are helpful but not essential.

Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN).
