Full-Time Inpatient Psychiatry Position - Muskegon, MichiganAcademic-Affiliated Growth Opportunity Premier Lakeside CommunityRecruitWell is working with a leading health system in Muskegon, MI to identify a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Psychiatrist for a full-time inpatient psychiatry position. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive behavioral health environment, with opportunities for teaching, leadership, and professional growthPosition Overview :

Role : Inpatient Psychiatrist
Location : Dedicated Behavioral Health Unit - Muskegon, MI
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM (flexible within that framework)
Call : 1 : 4 weekend rotation (additional shifts available for extra pay)
Start Date : As soon as credentialed

Key Responsibilities :

Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and manage adult inpatient treatment plans

Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications

Participate in daily clinical rounds and collaborative team discussions

Work closely with a fully staffed multidisciplinary team : APPs, RNs, social workers, case managers, and other specialists

Document care accurately using Epic EMR

Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in an academic-affiliated setting

Opportunity to expand into outpatient care, leadership, or research, based on interest

Candidate Requirements :

Board Certified (or Truly Board Eligible within 2 years of eligibility)

Open to recent graduates or experienced providers

Not accepting Locums or candidates with lapsed board certification
