We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Specialist in Omaha, NE . In this role you will be responsible for the daily processing of corporate expenses timely and accurately; calculates month end and year end accruals, reviews outstanding checks and files unclaimed property
DUTIES :
- Processes invoices for payment : including coding expenses, calculating discounts and routing invoices for approval
- Tracks purchase orders and maintains accounts payable files and records; prepares accruals for month end and fiscal year end expenses
- Processes monthly credit card statements; company fleet gas, maintenance and repairs expenses; and real estate advertising
- Manages expense report system : reviews expense, verifies proper approvals, ensure receipts and documentation for expenses are received
- Review outstanding checks on multiple bank accounts; research and contact payee for reissuance; perform due diligence and submit to unclaimed property as necessary
- File unclaimed property reports annually
- Review invoices for use tax calculations; file monthly sales and use tax returns for multiple states
- Responds to vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoices, expenses and check requests
- Performs additional duties as assigned and required

Associates degree in accounting, or finance or related field. Or in lieu of, a high school diploma with 3+ years of accounts payable experience.1+ year of accounts payable experienceProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Lotus Notes and Enterprise One accounting softwarePHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT :
