Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow up with prospects and leads to assist with application completion and document collection.
- Help borrowers complete milestones in the loan application process.
- Maintain communication with clients to ensure all required information is collected and accurately entered into the system.
- Manage follow up tasks related to new loan setup, allowing Loan Officers to focus on originating new business.
- Order and track all third-party services, including title, appraisal, payoff statements, and pest inspections.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of ordered items.
- Maintain detailed loan file notes and ensure all order-outs and documents are properly uploaded.
- Support Processors by handling pre-processing tasks, allowing them to focus on clearing conditions and closing loans efficiently.
- During high loan volume, focus primarily on supporting Loan Processors to move loans efficiently through funding.
- During low loan volume, shift focus to assisting Loan Officers with lead follow-up, prospect outreach, and new loan setup.
- Exhibit motivation, organization, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with borrowers, team members, and vendors.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the mortgage industry, developing a broad understanding of both origination and processing functions.
