The F&B Host / Hostess will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a positive dining experience. As a Host / Hostess, you will manage reservations, seat guests, and coordinate with the restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.

The Job

• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times. Resolve guest complaints to over-the-moon satisfaction.
• Follow Hotel policies with lost and found items.
• Adhere to Hotel requirements for guest and team member accidents or injuries and in emergency situations.
• Continuously promote sanitation, safety, and security efforts.
• Encourage Social Media / 5-star compliments or reviews on OTA’s.
• Guest Reception : Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon their arrival.
• Reservations : Manage reservation systems, take bookings, and confirm reservations as needed.
• Seating Arrangements : Seat guests based on preferences, balancing the flow of guests throughout the dining area.
• Communication : Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure efficient operation
• Waiting Area Management : Maintain an organized and tidy waiting area, keeping guests informed of wait times.
• Menu Knowledge : Provide basic information about the menu and specials to guests.
• Customer Service : Address guest inquiries, concerns, or special requests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Answer the telephone as needed.
• Move tables together to accommodate large parties.
• Report all accidents and breakages to the F&B Manager or Executive Chef in charge.
• Adhere to relevant Food Safety Hygiene standards.
• Maintain knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
• Follow Hotel policies with lost and found items.
• Other duties as assigned.
