Position Summary :
The Senior Program Coordinator provides high-level administrative and strategic support to a senior surgeon leading a new initiative to elevate the visibility and reputation of the Surgery department. This role combines program management, communications, and event coordination, serving as the central point of contact for operations, planning, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic & Project Support : Partner with the Program Director to set priorities, track progress, and ensure timely completion of key initiatives. Prepare executive summaries, meeting materials, and follow-up reports.
Event Coordination : Plan and manage workshops, seminars, retreats, and outreach events, overseeing logistics such as venues, catering, invitations, travel, and communications.
Administrative Management : Maintain a complex calendar, coordinate travel and reimbursements, manage correspondence, and provide general operational support.
Communication & Liaison : Act as the primary contact for internal teams and external partners. Facilitate effective communication, prepare updates, and ensure follow-through on action items.
