Job Title : Mainframe z / OS Administrator

Location : San Antonio, TX

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe z / OS Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IBM z / OS, strong knowledge of system architecture, and expertise in mainframe operations and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer and maintain IBM z / OS (OS 2.2, 2.3) environments.
• Configure, monitor, and manage Parallel Sysplex and mainframe LPARs.
• Perform z / OS version upgrades , patching, and installation of fixes.
• Install and maintain ISV products on the mainframe.
• Maintain system parameters / parmlib and other configuration settings.
• Manage and resolve z / OS-related incidents .
• Configure and set up z / OS MF environments.
• Monitor and report system performance , ensuring optimal operations.
