• Supervise children at all times.
• Provide a safe environment by following all health and safety guidelines.
• Assist in facilitating lesson plans and activities working with children in small groups.
• Assist children with bathroom needs to include potty training as needed and change diapers following all diaper changing procedures.
• Accurately document daily eating, diapering and naps.
• Treat all children with dignity and respect, speaking to them one on one in a calm manner.
• Be sensitive to childrens feelings and responsive to their needs. Provide a nurturing, caring environment.
• Model good social skills to help children develop appropriate social behavior.
• Communicate professionally with parents, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED, be able to pass a drug screen, and have a clean criminal background.
