Summer Intern - Mechanical Engineer

As a mechanical engineering intern at AD Systems, you’ll work with cross functional teams on all aspects of our product life cycles from new product development, product sustaining and value engineering to manufacturability and product quality.

What You Will Do :

• Work with product development teams to gain an understanding of our products
• Use mechanical design and analysis tools to assist the R&D team with new product concepting, development, and execution
• Learn about all aspects of product testing through experience including :
• Industry standards that drive testing requirements
• Destructive product performance testing
• Reliability calculations and test methods
• Learn manufacturing and assembly processes through interfacing with our manufacturing engineering team
• Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion
