Accounts Payable $75k-$80k
A prominent commercial real estate owner / operator in Midtown NYC is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join their team.
This organization boasts ownership of approximately 20 million sq. ft. of class-A commercial buildings across the country.
If you have exposure to Class A commercial office properties using MRI / AVID software, this opportunity could be an ideal match.
Responsibilities :
- Verify vendor accounts, pay vendors, and resolve invoices or payment discrepancies.
- Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records.
- Perform year end distribution of 1099 Forms.
- Review and ensure coding of invoices.
- Protect businesses against unintentional overpayment.
- Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner.
- Provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization.
- Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices, or signatures.
- Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years accounts payable experience in commercial real estate.
- Proficiency with MRI and AVID exchange real estate accounting software.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.
- Extreme attention to detail and follow up tasks.
- Be able to multi-task and be a team player.
Salary : $75k-$80k plus benefits
