Resident Engineer (Part-Time)-Staten Island

Position :  Part-Time Resident Engineer  in Staten Island, NY to work on Parks projects, that include all field inspections and administrative services.

Scope :   Field inspection services. This project will provide construction management services for the construction of a subsurface stone storage system, new asphalt pavement, porous pavement, new curbing, drainage pipes, drainage structure reconstruction, granite block removal, new tree plantings, and native seeding in a portion of a parking lot within the Park. Work includes excavation, grading, placement of drainage structures and fill material, and planting.

Requirements : The Part-Time  Resident Engineer must have a degree in Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or better and NYS Professional Engineer (PE) License with the ability to perform SWPPP Inspections , and a minimum of three (3) years construction management specialized in green infrastructure and work within the NYC boroughs. The track record of the Resident Engineer shall have completed projects with scope complexity, budget and time issues. The RE shall prepare daily / weekly reports, calculation books, meeting minutes, payments, cost analysis, change orders, overruns, directives, etc.

Prior NYC or NYS Parks experience is a plus.

Pay Rate : $60.00-$75.00 / Hourly Salary. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, education, and physical work location.
