Role Overview : We're seeking a seasoned Rewards & Performance Expert to lead compensation strategy, incentive design, benefits framework, and HR vendor management in Los Angeles. This role ensures alignment with business goals, local regulations, and industry standards, driving talent attraction, retention, and motivation while maintaining compliance and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop competitive compensation strategies (base pay, market benchmarking, salary structures) to balance internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Design innovative short / long-term incentive programs for diverse employee segments, linking metrics to business outcomes.
- Build and manage a comprehensive benefits system (healthcare, retirement, wellness) compliant with U.S. and California regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA).
- Oversee HR vendor management (compensation survey providers, benefits administrators, etc.), including selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.
- Conduct market analysis (using tools like Mercer, Willis Towers Watson) to adjust programs per trends, economics, and competitor practices.
- Collaborate with HRBPs, finance, and legal to ensure compliance and support initiatives like retention and DEI; communicate rewards programs to employees transparently.
Job Requirements : Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field; Master's or CCP certification preferred.5+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, and incentive design (multinational experience a plus).Deep knowledge of U.S. and California regulations (e.g., state-mandated benefits, pay transparency).Proven vendor management skills (contracts, SLAs, performance evaluation).Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools, HRIS systems (Workday, SAP), and data analytics.Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
