Introduction :

This position is responsible for assisting various departments in operations on a daily basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Audit show specials after buying conferences (virtual and in person) for both UniPro and Afflink.
  • Document new processes, procedures and forms documentation in accordance with company documentation development standards.
  • Conduct and attend all relevant meetings associated with job functions.
  • Work cohesively with all departments to ensure detailed and specific processes are documented.
  • Perform all related processes and procedures publication functions as required.
  • Complete all tasks directly and on time.
  • Proofread and edit all documentation at various stages of production.
  • Use internal reporting tools and database to analyze and refine on-time delivery reports for the Transportation department.
  • Weekend availability may be required as needed.
  • Process customer orders via sales team members or customers.
  • Proofread and / or edit orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Respond to general customer inquiries and troubleshoot issues.
  • Process customer credits.
  • Take necessary steps to set up online customers.
  • Process special orders, drop shipments and document accordingly.
  • Place drop ship orders with vendors.
  • Manage all credits on credit memo line issued by drivers via spreadsheet.
  • Maintain back-order screen.
  • Support sales team with their customers during vacation or sick leave.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications :

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
  • Experience working in a distribution / transportation environment preferred.
  • Position requires a high degree of accuracy, good organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Knowledge of BFC, AS400 and Forward Thinking.
  • Experience in a DOS based ERP environment preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Physical Qualifications :

  • Sit, bend, reach, casual dexterity for document processing and verbal and written communications.
  • Occasional warehouse environment with noise, dust, odors
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disability to perform the essential functions.
