Job Title : General Manager

The General Manager is ultimately the caretaker of our guests, property, service, and staff. This position uses all available experience and information to empower the team and maximize operations. The General Manager will lead and motivate the staff to achieve higher levels of hospitality and sales. Expectations are set for the level of hospitality and knowledge of the team, which will flourish with proper guidance and support.
The General Manager will work in close partnership with ownership and the broader leadership team to oversee budgets, labor, and other sales and service-related metrics.
The General Manager is also responsible for maintaining the overall tone, atmosphere, and service standards of the establishment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Administrative
Oversee ordering of building goods and supplies
Oversee all aspects of labor management and payroll
Oversee compliance components of the employee health care plan
Building & Maintenance
Coordinate and initiate general maintenance calls
Maintain and oversee restaurant and rooms standards
Manage equipment manuals, service schedules, and warranties, as well as refunds and returns
Financials
Identify opportunities to maximize performance and profitability
Manage to the annual P&L budget, with monthly and quarterly reviews
Monitor financial results on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
Work with the accounting team to ensure the P&L accurately reflects the business
Operational Oversight & Support
Assist in management of menu editing and printing
Oversee all reservation platforms
Oversee POS systems
Oversee PayPal and web store; manage and process all orders
Oversee repair, replacement, and / or return of compromised equipment and products
Perform other job duties as needed
Must be able to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
