Project Manager-Architecture

Overview

Dewberry's Architecture Team is seeking an energetic Project Manager with well-rounded experience to join our Fairfax, VA office. Experience in Federal and Local Governments, Civic and Justice building types is desirable.

Dewberry's Architecture Practice has an exciting opening for the right individual to leverage their business development, client management, project management, and design skills to be an integral piece for the office's opportunity and growth. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone who wants to apply a varied skills set and is ready to take on the challenges of growing our practice. The right individual will be responsible for managing a growing list of municipal and state clients and projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands the significance of design intention, building codes and project schedules while applying all to both small and large projects in a team atmosphere. Elements for the position include being a self-starter, good communicator and someone that is inquisitive.

Responsibilities

How will you do this?

• Collaborate with the Architectural Leadership to successfully deliver projects.
• Work closely with Clients, managing relationships, expectations, and day-to-day individual project needs.
• Participate with internal Teams to conceptualize, design, and produce project documentation.
• Interface with external Consultants to coordinate disciplines, manage contractual relationships, and maintain project schedules.
• Join in Business Development and Marketing activities, independently and in conjunction with others, including RFPs and Interviews.
• Set, monitor, and maintain project budgets, work plans, and schedules through all phases of the design process.

Required Skills & Required Experience

Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
