Job description

Technical Recruiter

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled technical recruiter to manage the full life-cycle recruitment process for IT positions, focusing on leveraging our current member base and newly skilled talent. The ideal candidate will excel in advising candidates on career pathing and resume development while collaborating closely with hiring managers to understand and meet recruitment needs.

Responsibilities include :

  • Conduct full life-cycle recruitment for IT positions, focusing on current member base and newly skilled talent.
  • Advise members and candidates on career pathing and skill / resume development.
  • Meet with account manager and hiring manager to fully understand roles and qualify requisitions.
  • Consult with hiring managers on the internal recruiting process, feasibility of hires, and potential challenges.
  • Collaborate with managers and team members to develop and implement recruitment strategies.
  • Ensure hiring practices align with company policy and commitment to diversity and equality.
  • Proactively network within chosen markets to build strong industry relationships.
  • Partner with hiring managers to obtain leadership approvals and extend offers.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and process tracking in the ATS.
  • Assist with department and company-wide projects, including surveys, audits, diversity projects, and research.
  • Develop and maintain recruiting metrics to track success.
  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with HR regulations.

Essential skills include :

  • Minimum of 2+ years proven IT recruiting / search firm experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Strong ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Additional skills and qualifications include :

  • Experience in technical recruiting and full cycle recruiting.
  • Skills in sourcing and talent acquisition.
  • Customer service skills are advantageous.
  • This is a 100% remote position requiring the ability to work East Coast hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. This is a contract to hire position based out of Hanover, Maryland. The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $32.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
