Must-Have : Charge experience preferred; First-time travelers accepted

Description :

Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required for this unit and all RN units.

Barcode scanning must be 95% to be eligible for an extension.

Less than 95% could result in a cancellation.

ASAP start required.

Facility will accept either 3x12 or 4x12 schedules.

36 or 48 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts from 18 : 30 to 07 : 00.

Call required as needed.

Float required every other weekend and every other holiday.

RN will be required to care for all acuity types.

There will be occasional ICU / PCU patients on this unit.

BLS required by start date.

RNs will be requested to sign an attestation to confirm awareness of these requirements.

Special equipment includes ventilators, occasionally.

Patient age groups served include adults and geriatrics.

Daily census is typically 8-10 patients with a patient ratio of 6.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, and social services.

Patient diagnoses primarily include medical cardiac, respiratory, orthopedic (basic procedures), and general surgery.

All candidates are expected to manage barcode scanning and adhere to unit protocols.

Compliance requirements apply to all selected candidates.

Candidates must plan ahead to avoid scheduling conflicts.

Background checks and certifications must be completed prior to starting.
