Job Description : We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) who is DOT Certified as a medical examiner to join our team on a per diem or part-time basis.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high-quality medical care.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct DOT physical examinations for commercial motor vehicle drivers
- Assess the medical fitness of drivers based on DOT regulations and guidelines
- Perform comprehensive medical evaluations and provide appropriate recommendations
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements :
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- DOT Certification as a medical examiner
- Experience in occupational health or related field preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Willingness to work 10-hour shifts
Pay Rate : $70-75 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
