About the Role
Are you a hands-on engineer with a strong background in electronics, quality systems, and production assembly? As a Manufacturing Process Engineer , you will play a key role in transforming design specifications into efficient, repeatable, and high-quality manufacturing processes for advanced electronic products.
This position involves close collaboration across Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to improve product yield, enhance process reliability, and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cross-Functional Support
- Serve as the primary technical contact for production, working closely with operators, technicians, and supervisors.
- Translate new product designs and engineering changes into clear, actionable manufacturing plans.
- Provide feedback on manufacturability and process improvements.
2. Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis
Provide technical support to resolve production, test, and process issues quickly.Lead root cause analysis for defects, failures, and yield deviations.Manage the review and disposition of non-conforming materials (repair, rework, or scrap).Design and maintain production fixtures and testing equipment.3. Process Documentation & Improvement
Develop and maintain detailed Manufacturing Work Instructions for assemblies.Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance first-pass yield.Ensure documentation complies with quality standards and relevant certifications.4. Quality Collaboration
Partner with Quality teams to define inspection points and control checks.Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for identified issues.Audit processes and equipment for compliance and performance consistency.Qualifications
Education & Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or a related field).4+ years of technical experience in manufacturing-preferably electronics assembly, display technology, or PCBA.Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration between engineering, production, and quality teams.Technical Skills :
Strong understanding of electronics principles, schematics, and wiring diagrams.Experience with Lean , Six Sigma , and ISO 9001 quality systems.Skilled in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and process validation.Familiar with production equipment and assembly processes such as soldering and wire bonding.Ability to interpret and update CAD drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).Soft Skills :
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical ideas clearly.Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Why Join Us
