Job Summary

The Culinary Director leads the culinary vision and execution across a dynamic B&I account, including six micro restaurants, multiple 24 / 7 self-checkout locations, a coffee shop, a third-floor caf, local restaurant partnerships, a delivery service, complimentary snacks / beverages, and an extensive catering program. This role requires expertise in fine dining, innovative menu creation, and multi-unit team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead seasonal menu development, local sourcing, and elevated culinary standards across all outlets.

Uphold all food program protocols, workplace safety, and sanitation standards.

Oversee executive dining and VIP events with impeccable service and presentation.

Drive creative programming such as pop-ups, tastings, and chef demonstrations.

Manage vendor partnerships focused on sustainable, locally sourced ingredients.

Collaborate with clients on sustainability, waste reduction, and packaging initiatives.

Deliver culinary training in skills development, presentation, and leadership.

Conduct audits and training to ensure safety, sanitation, and food quality compliance.

Optimize kitchen operations and manage food and labor costs to meet financial targets.

Serve as the primary culinary liaison for client leadership and key stakeholders.

Work with marketing to promote food concepts and incorporate guest feedback.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent, with formal culinary training.

• Must gain and maintain property access requirements

10+ years as a professional chef, including 8+ years in leadership.

5+ years in menu development.

Strong background in fine dining, executive catering, and B&I operations.

ServSafe and Choke Saver certified.

Proficient in MS Office and culinary software.

Proven ability to lead teams, engage clients, and manage P&L, labor, and procurement.
