Job Title : Parts Processor

Job Description

Parts Processing personnel are responsible for using industrial cleaning products, small power tools, and hand tools to clean and restore component parts used in sub-assemblies of process control instrumentation and control valves.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for refinishing.
• Inspect the parts to determine if they can be remanufactured.
• Replace inferior or defective parts.
• Clean and restore parts to a like-new condition.
• Follow directions for proper disassembly of parts.
• Use disassembly techniques / tools and methods to ensure minimal loss of material.
• Handle materials properly to avoid damage per training procedures.
• Identify critical components in each series of products.
• Ensure all components are properly identified and labeled after disassembly.
• Utilize an automated inventory control system.
• Maintain warehouse organization.
• Purge and liquidate excess or obsolete inventory.
• Maintain proper space management within the warehouse.

Work Environment

Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. The work environment can be dusty and does not have air conditioning, so you must be able to work in the heat. Scheduled shifts are from 6 : 00 AM to 2 : 30 PM, with occasional overtime required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Earth City, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00 / hr.
