As a Kubernetes SME on our team, you'll use your development experience to streamline our software development lifecycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll incorporate open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the team's developers to do what they do best - innovate. You'll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to build your experience in modern, cloud native software development.

You Have :

• 5+ years of experience in an Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer role
• 3+ years of experience managing, operating and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• 2+ years of experience deploying applications into Kubernetes via Helm, Kustomizeand GitOps, such as Flux or ArgoCD
• 2+ years of experience with a cloud service provider, including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform,or Microsoft Azure
• Experience in Kubernetes architecture, design, networking, security, and containerization
• Experience with Agile methods and practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, or Configuration as Code, including Ansible,and scripting with Bash, Python, or Groovy
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of hire date

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
