This position requires the candidate to have completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education OR the ability to demonstrate, through a formal local academic assessment, knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics (or readiness in those subjects, as appropriate).
Testing TBD. You will be working with an elementary special education student and will provide individual services and support for that student per their Individual Education Plan (IEP).
Qualifications : Candidate must be a high school graduate and have knowledge of principles and practices relating to Special Education, subjects taught in District schools, and principles and techniques of providing instructional assistance in a variety of subject areas.
Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary, as well as good oral and written communication skills, are essential.
