Optomi, in partnership with a global leader in the Diagnostic Solutions space, is looking for a Senior Finance Transformation Manager to join the team leading a financial transformation focused on Oracle to SAP surrounding the migration of financial processes.
Job Scope :
The Manager, Finance Transformation will be responsible for :
- Serving as Project Manager for key Finance initiatives, including but not limited to; technology implementation, process harmonization, merger and acquisition support, and business support
- Leading process harmonization efforts across business units, legal entities and finance functions across North America
- Serve as key facilitator and assistant to Sr Director, Accounting
- Lead process and stakeholder coordination across accounting, finance, and IT to support implementation roadmap.
- Drive finance process optimization - map, streamline, and document key workflows; identify opportunities for standardization or automation.
- Serve as the right-hand partner to the Sr. Director of Accounting, ensuring finance teams are aligned through each phase of migration.
- Partner closely with North American business units and corporate accounting in Italy to harmonize systems and processes.
- Support integration of acquired entities one unified SAP-based finance environment.
Key Responsibilities and Duties :
Serve as project leader (PMO) for major finance projects, including Kaizen activities, technology implementations, M&A activity, any other projects as identified.Drive Finance project funnel, from identification, to prioritization, to execution; working cross functionally within Finance and with broader organization as required.Lead contact for all harmonization and implementation activities and efforts across various Finance functions and teams across North America.Design and implement standard work to monitor and report on key project status.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and streamline accounting and finance procedures.Own the end-to-end process mapping of key finance workflows.Assist with driving compliance with IFRS and implementation of new standards.Responsible for monitoring and prioritizing the continuous improvement of the North American Finance team.Coordinate the regular preparation and reporting tied to overall functional performance and project status.Prepare ad hoc financial reporting requests, other analyses and special projects requested by management.Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations of accounting transactions and procedures as required.Maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information.Work on special projects and other duties as assigned.Education, Experience, Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance requiredMaster’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred5+ years Progressive responsible accounting experience4+ years Project Management Exposure / Experience4+ years Public accounting experience, Big 4 a plusStrong Experience with SAP or OracleCertified Public Accountant PreferredSelf-starter, demonstrates initiative and ability to lead through change and complexityAbility to interact with all levels within the organizationExcellent skills in oral and written communicationStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsDetailed oriented, organized and has strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet tight deadlinesAbility to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutionsMust be capable of working both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a teamExperience in Microsoft Vizio a plusComputer skills (Microsoft Windows and Office programs; high skill level in Excel)25-50% Travel will be required
