Job Position : Maintenance Technician

Location : Desoto, TX 75115

Pay Rate : $19-28.00 / hr

Shift : Mon-Fri 8am-5pm OT

Description :

This position involves solving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipment. Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns. Reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, electrical schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance work. (Dis)assembling / installing new machines, condition monitoring sensors, equipment, etc.

SKILLS :

Must be able to continuously meet company's production requirements.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with continuous interruptions.

Must have good oral and written communication and organizational skills.

Ability to follow instructions, written and verbal.

Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and service manuals.

Ability to troubleshoot, solve, and repair various issues throughout facility.

ACTUAL TASK :

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment.

Read prints, identify needed parts, check availability of parts, and order when necessary.

Use measuring tools, hand and power tools, utility equipment, and AMP / Volt Meters (AC / DC)

Care and upkeep of all tools and equipment assigned.

Accurately complete maintenance logs, work orders, weekly maintenance worksheets, and other paperwork requested by the company.
