Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

• Database Development : Develop and maintain database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and functions using SQL and database management systems (e.

• Performance Tuning : Optimize database performance for speed, concurrency, and scalability, tuning SQL queries, indexing strategies, and database configuration settings.
• Data Migration and Integration : Manage data migration and integration processes to transfer data between systems, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
• Data Security and Compliance : Implement database security controls and access policies to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitoring and Maintenance : Monitor database performance and health, proactively identifying and addressing issues to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
• Documentation and Collaboration : Document database architecture, processes, and best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and transparency.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong background in database development, with hands-on experience in designing, building, and optimizing database solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Experience with database design and modeling techniques, including relational and dimensional data modeling.
• Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization techniques, including query optimization, indexing, and partitioning.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
