Position Summary
Legacy Impact is seeking a part-time Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and medical oversight for our behavioral health programs. This position may be performed virtually or through a hybrid schedule. The Medical Director ensures the highest standards of medical care, compliance with regulatory standards, and integration of medical and behavioral health services. The role includes supervision of medical staff, participation in interdisciplinary treatment planning, and collaboration with executive and clinical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical oversight for all clinical programs and ensure delivery of safe, effective, and ethical care.
- Conduct patient consultations and oversee medication management, including detoxification protocols when applicable.
- Review and approve medical policies, procedures, and treatment protocols.
- Collaborate with the executive and clinical teams to support program development and quality improvement.
- Provide consultation, peer review, and supervision to prescribing clinicians.
- Support compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
- Participate in case reviews and treatment team meetings.
- Address clinical risk management issues and review patient grievances related to medical care.
- Contribute to staff development and education in medical and pharmacological best practices.
Schedule & Compensation

Requirements
Current and unrestricted Ohio license as one of the following :MD or DO (Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine)APRN with a collaborative agreement in a behavioral health or addiction medicine settingValid DEA registration and NPI number required.Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with 2+ years in leadership preferred.Experience in behavioral health, addiction medicine, or integrated care strongly preferred.Proficiency in electronic health records and telehealth platforms.Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.Benefits
