Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney specializing in Estate Planning and Tax Law for their offices in Alabama and Florida. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business law, estate planning, and complex tax law. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of matters.

Duties

  • Conduct legal research and draft transactional documents independently.
  • Attend client appointments and understand client expectations.
  • Engage in special projects and committee involvement.
  • Complete administrative tasks including time reporting and case management.
  • Utilize technology and automation in legal practice.
  • Travel as required to meet business needs.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.

Requirements

  • LLM highly preferred.
  • Current license to practice law in good standing with the Alabama or Florida Bar.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of verifiable experience in estate, business law, and commercial transactions.
  • Ability to participate in all aspects of the firm's professional activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and file management software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
